Frequently Asked Questions

Do you use traditional window cleaning methods?

Generally, no. Squeegee and scrim have their place, but we try to avoid them. With traditional methods, dish soap (or a variant, don't be fooled 99% of window cleaners are using Fairy) is mixed with water. This instantly and progressively forms a film on that adds a false shine to the windows, traps dirt on the glazing (the film is ever so slightly tacky) as well as eroding (over long periods of time) the gasket keeping the window in place.

What is water fed pole (WFP) | pure water window cleaning?

The water is purified, only using water that has been through both DI and RO filtration to ensure it is 100% pure. Being contaminant free it then forms molecular bonds to any contaminant it does encounter to flush it away. The water that remains on the glass, then dries (evaporates) from sunlight and/or wind without leaving any mineral deposits, leaving a spot free finish.

How high can you reach?

Pretty high. Our standard everyday poles reach 40ft (12m / Approx. 4 storeys), but we do have poles available that can reach 80ft (25m Approx 8 storeys). Beyond that, we have third party abseiling teams that can clean nearly any height provided the building in question has a flat roof.

Do you clean windows on flats/apartments?

Yes, see above. The only thing that can create an issue is a balcony or Juliet balcony. You can probably be accommodated, but we would need a site visit to quote.

Do you clean the inside of the windows | Internal window cleaning?

As a standard, we don’t. However we have no issue with cleaning the internal glass and frames, but we would need a site visit to asses any hazards or problems; especially in any industrial/commercial premises.

How much do you charge? | How much per hour?

If someone is charging per hour, they're either entirely new to the game, or they just simply don't know what they're doing. Window cleaning is always done on price. There are far too many mitigating and contributing factors to assessing a job, it can't be done per hour.
